Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small head of cabbage, chopped
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 cup cooked white rice
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and garlic; sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.

Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess grease.

Stir in chopped cabbage and cook for 5-7 minutes until it starts to soften.

Pour in diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Stir in paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Add the cooked rice and mix everything well. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes until the cabbage is tender.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
