Ingredients
:
For the Pasta:

3 cups elbow macaroni

1 tsp salt

For the Cheese Sauce:

4 tbsp unsalted butter

3 tbsp all-purpose flour

2 cups whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp mustard powder

½ tsp black pepper

2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

½ cup parmesan cheese, grated

For the Topping:

½ cup breadcrumbs

2 tbsp melted butter

½ cup extra cheddar cheese

Instructions
:
Cook the Pasta: Boil macaroni in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make the Cheese Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly add milk and heavy cream, whisking until smooth. Stir in garlic powder, mustard powder, and black pepper.

Melt the Cheese: Lower the heat and add cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese. Stir until melted and creamy.

Combine: Mix the cooked pasta into the cheese sauce, ensuring every bite is coated.

Bake: Pour the mac & cheese into a baking dish. Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the top. Add extra cheddar cheese. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
