Surf & Turf Alfredo Pasta with Shrimp and Steak

Ingredients:
For the Steak:

200g steak (sirloin or ribeye)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Shrimp:

12 large shrimp
(peeled and deveined)
1 tbsp butter

1 garlic clove
(minced)
Salt and pepper to taste

Juice of ½ lemon

For the Alfredo Sauce:

2 tbsp butter

2 garlic cloves
(minced)
2 cups heavy cream

1½ cups grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Pasta:

250g spaghetti or fettuccine

Water for boiling
Pinch of salt

For Garnish:

Chopped parsley

Instructions:
Cook the Steak:

Season the steak with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or until your desired doneness. Rest for 5 minutes, then slice into bite-sized pieces

Cook the Shrimp:

In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through

Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and season with salt and pepper. Set aside

Make the Alfredo Sauce:

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute

Pour in the heavy cream and simmer gently for 2-3 minutes. Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy
