Surf and Turf Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients
For the Steak and Shrimp:
8 oz sirloin steak, cubed
8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Alfredo Sauce:
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 tbsp butter
1 garlic clove, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Pasta:
8 oz fettuccine pasta
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook the Pasta:
Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Steak and Shrimp:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak cubes with salt and pepper, and sear for 2–3 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside. Add shrimp to the same skillet and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the sauce thickens.
Combine Everything:
Toss the cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce. Plate the pasta and top with steak and shrimp. Garnish with chopped parsley.
