For the Flatbread:
1 package store-bought flatbread or pizza dough
1 tbsp olive oil
1 pear, thinly sliced
1/4 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
1/4 cup toasted walnuts, roughly chopped
1/4 cup arugula (optional for garnish)
For the Spiced Honey Drizzle:
2 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp ground cloves
Pinch of salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the flatbread or pizza dough onto a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
Evenly layer the pear slices, Gorgonzola cheese, and toasted walnuts over the dough.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the flatbread is golden and crispy, and the cheese has melted.
While the flatbread bakes, whisk together honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt in a small bowl.
Remove the flatbread from the oven and drizzle with the spiced honey mixture.
Garnish with fresh arugula, slice, and serve warm. Enjoy!
