Shrimp & Cheeseburger with Loaded Fries
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
4 burger buns
8-10 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 slices cheddar cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp hot sauce
For the Loaded Fries:
4 large potatoes, cut into fries
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup cheese sauce
2 tbsp green onions, chopped
1 tbsp paprika
Instructions:
Prepare the fries: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the potato fries with olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Spread them out on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy.
Cook the shrimp: While the fries are baking, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the shrimp with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
Prepare the burgers: While the shrimp cooks, form the ground beef into 4 burger patties. Season with salt and pepper. Grill or pan-sear the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until desired doneness. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.
Assemble the burgers: Toast the burger buns in a skillet or on the grill. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun. Add the cheeseburger patty, followed by a few shrimp. Top with the other half of the bun.
Make the loaded fries: Once the fries are done, drizzle them with cheese sauce, and sprinkle with green onions and extra paprika for a little kick.
Serve and enjoy: Plate your shrimp cheeseburger alongside the loaded fries. Drizzle a bit of ketchup, mayonnaise, and hot sauce on the fries for a creamy and spicy finish!
This surf-and-turf burger and loaded fries combo will definitely hit the spot!
