This salmon and shrimp pasta is the perfect combination of tender fish, juicy shrimp, and creamy pasta. The rich flavors are enhanced with a light seasoning, making it a satisfying dish for any occasion.
Ingredients:
For the salmon:
2 salmon fillets
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
For the shrimp:
12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
For the pasta:
8 oz fettuccine or linguine
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Salmon: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rub the salmon fillets with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Place the fillets on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
Cook the Shrimp: While the salmon bakes, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the shrimp with garlic powder, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Sauté the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and are cooked through.
Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water and cook the fettuccine or linguine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet used for the shrimp, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens.
Combine the Pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the creamy sauce and toss to coat the noodles in the sauce.
Serve: Plate the pasta and top with the grilled salmon fillets and sautéed shrimp. Garnish with fresh parsley and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan.
