Recipes:

For the Crostini:
1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Whipped Ricotta:
1 cup ricotta cheese
2 tbsp heavy cream
1 tsp honey
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1/4 tsp salt
For the Toppings:
4-5 fresh figs, sliced
2 tbsp honey (for drizzling)
Fresh thyme leaves for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
Toast the bread in the oven for 8-10 minutes, until golden and crispy.
In a medium bowl, combine ricotta, heavy cream, honey, lemon zest, and salt. Using a hand mixer or whisk, whip until smooth and creamy.
Spread the whipped ricotta on each toasted baguette slice.
Top with fresh fig slices and drizzle with honey.
Garnish with fresh thyme leaves if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
