1 lb fresh okra, sliced into ½-inch thick rounds
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
¼ cup cornmeal (optional for extra crunch)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, toss the okra slices with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
For extra crunch, sprinkle the okra with cornmeal and toss again.
Spread the seasoned okra in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the okra fries are golden and crispy.
