Description
1 round sourdough bread loaf
8 oz Brie cheese, rind removed
1/2 cup cranberry sauce (preferably homemade or whole-berry)
1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the inside, leaving a thick border. Set the bread bowl aside.
Place the Brie cheese in the center of the hollowed bread. Top with cranberry sauce, chopped pecans (if using), fresh rosemary, and a drizzle of honey.
Brush the outside of the bread bowl with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
Place the bread on a baking sheet and cover with foil. Bake for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the Brie is melted and bubbly, and the bread is golden.
Serve warm with the bread pieces you removed from the bowl, crackers, or fresh vegetables for dipping.
