1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 cup fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), halved
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, mozzarella balls, and torn basil leaves.
In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar and honey until smooth and well combined.
Drizzle the balsamic-honey mixture over the strawberry and mozzarella mixture.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, and toss gently to coat.
Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil for a touch of richness.
