8 oz spaghetti
1 lb ground beef or turkey
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp dried basil
½ tsp dried oregano
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh basil (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat, then stir in the marinara sauce. Let it
simmer for 5 minutes.
In a separate bowl, combine ricotta cheese, ½ cup mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, and oregano. Stir to mix.
Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce mixture, stirring to combine.
Layer the spaghetti mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread the ricotta mixture on top.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh basil before serving. Serve hot and enjoy!
