Molten Chocolate Lava Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup dark chocolate chunks
12 chocolate squares (for filling)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt, then mix until a dough forms. Fold in dark chocolate chunks. Scoop dough, flatten slightly, place a chocolate square in the center, and seal the edges. Arrange on the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving warm.
