Ingredients

1 lb thick-cut bacon
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp black pepper
Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
Directions

Preheat the oven: Heat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
Prepare the glaze: In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Coat the bacon: Lay bacon slices in a single layer on the wire rack. Brush the maple glaze generously over each slice.
Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes, brushing with extra glaze halfway through, until bacon is caramelized and crispy.
Cool and serve: Let the bacon cool slightly to firm up. Enjoy as a snack, breakfast treat, or topping!
