Luxurious Chocolate Pecan Turtle Cheesecake
Ingredients:
2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
1/2 cup caramel sauce
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Extra caramel sauce and melted chocolate for drizzling
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
In a medium bowl, mix the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in the heavy cream until fully incorporated.
Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust. Drizzle with melted chocolate and caramel sauce, then sprinkle with half of the chopped pecans.
Pour the remaining cream cheese mixture on top. Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until the center is almost set.
Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or overnight.
Before serving, drizzle the cheesecake with extra caramel sauce and melted chocolate, and sprinkle with the remaining chopped pecans.
