Holiday Cornflake Wreaths
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter
4 cups mini marshmallows
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp green food coloring (adjust for desired color)
4 cups cornflake cereal
Red cinnamon candies or mini red M&Ms (for decoration)
Directions
Melt the marshmallows: In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add marshmallows and stir until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and green food coloring.
Add the cereal: Gently fold in the cornflakes, mixing until all are evenly coated.
Shape the wreaths: Grease your hands with butter or cooking spray. Scoop small portions of the mixture and shape into wreaths, forming a small hole in the center. Place on wax paper to cool.
Decorate: Press red candies onto the wreaths to resemble holly berries. Let the wreaths set completely before serving.
