Herb Garlic Lamb Chops
Ingredients:
6 lamb chops
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, chopped
2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Lamb Chops:
Pat the lamb chops dry with paper towels
.
Season both sides generously with salt and pepper
.
2. Marinate:
Mix olive oil, garlic, rosemary, and thyme in a bowl
.
Rub the mixture over the lamb chops and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours
.
3. Sear the Lamb Chops:
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil
.
Sear the lamb chops for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer if desired.
4. Add Butter and Herbs:
During the last minute of cooking, add butter to the skillet
.
Spoon the melted butter over the lamb chops to enhance flavor.
5. Rest and Serve:
Remove from the skillet and let the lamb chops rest for 5 minutes to retain juices
.
Garnish with fresh rosemary and serve warm
