Halloumi + Italian Sausage Bake

A hearty one-skillet meal that combines the bold flavors of Italian sausage with the creamy, chewy texture of halloumi cheese. Thanks to halloumi’s high melting point, it roasts beautifully alongside tomatoes, onions, garlic, and a medley of spices, creating a dish that’s robust, vibrant, and utterly satisfying. Perfect for weeknights or cozy dinners with friends!

4 Italian sausages
8 oz halloumi cheese, sliced
1 pint cherry tomatoes
1 medium red onion, sliced
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Arrange sausages, halloumi, cherry tomatoes, onion, and garlic in a large skillet or baking dish.
3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
4. Toss everything gently to coat and spread out evenly.
5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, turning sausages halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
6. Serve hot with crusty bread or a fresh salad.
