Grilled Shrimp Sandwich with Cheese

Grilled Shrimp Sandwich with Cheese

Ingredients:

500g shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

4 slices of thick bread

4 slices of cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)

2 tablespoons butter, softened

1 teaspoon dried parsley or fresh parsley

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Shrimp:

Toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
.

Heat a skillet over medium heat, cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through
. Remove from heat and set aside.

2. Prepare the Bread:

Butter one side of each bread slice
.

3. Assemble the Sandwich:

Place a slice of cheese on the unbuttered side of one bread slice
.

Add cooked shrimp on top, then place another slice of cheese
.

Top with another slice of bread, buttered side facing out.

4. Grill the Sandwich:

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the sandwich and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted
.

5. Serve:

Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm
.
