Grilled Cheese Avocado Sandwich

Grilled Cheese Avocado Sandwich

Ingredients:

4 slices of whole-grain bread

1 ripe avocado, sliced

4 slices of cheddar cheese

1 tomato, sliced

2 tbsp butter, softened

Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions:

Prepare the Bread

Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.

Assemble the Sandwich

Place one slice of bread butter-side down in a skillet or on a grill pan.

Layer with cheddar cheese, avocado slices, and tomato slices.

Sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste.

Add another slice of cheddar cheese and top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.

Grill the Sandwich

Heat the skillet over medium heat and cook the sandwich for 2-3 minutes on each side until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.

Serve Hot

Cut in half and enjoy this healthy and creamy grilled sandwich!
