Garlic Butter Steak Bites Recipe
Ingredients
For the Steak Bites:
1 lb sirloin steak (or ribeye, strip steak), cut into 1-inch cubes
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Steak Bites:
Pat the steak cubes dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture (this helps achieve a good sear).
Season the steak bites with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Sear the Steak:
Heat a large skillet (preferably cast iron) over high heat. Add olive oil and let it heat until shimmering.
Add the steak bites in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Sear for 1-2 minutes on each side, until a deep golden crust forms.
Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce:
Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the same skillet. Let it melt.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
Combine:
Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter sauce to coat evenly.
Cook for 1-2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Be careful not to overcook the steak.
Serve:
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Pair with a side of mashed potatoes, rice, roasted vegetables, or crusty bread.
