Garlic Butter Salmon with Fresh Herbs

Ingredients

2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions

Prepare the Salmon:
Pat the salmon fillets dry and season generously with salt and black pepper.

Sear the Salmon:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon, skin-side down, and sear for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in lemon juice and parsley.

Combine and Serve:
Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the fillets. Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side for a zesty finish!
