Description
For the Flatbread:
1 pre-made flatbread or naan
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup crumbled goat cheese
1/3 cup dried figs, sliced
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
For the Balsamic Swirl:
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp honey
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced red onion and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until caramelized. Remove from heat.
Place flatbread on a baking sheet and sprinkle with mozzarella and goat cheese.
Distribute caramelized onions, sliced figs, and dried cranberries evenly over the top.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
While the flatbread bakes, heat balsamic vinegar and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Remove flatbread from the oven and drizzle with the balsamic swirl.
Slice and serve warm. Enjoy!
