Garlic and Oregano Halloumi Tacos

The ultimate one-handed meal! These tacos combine herbed halloumi, zesty lemon aioli, and sweet balsamic syrup for a burst of flavor in every bite. Best enjoyed without cutlery—just grab, bite, and savor the deliciousness!

2 red onions, thinly sliced
2 blocks halloumi, cut into 1cm-thick slices
2 cucumbers, sliced into thin batons
1 tub garlic aioli
1 bag cos lettuce leaves, shredded
2 bottles balsamic glaze
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 lemon
2 sachets dried oregano
12 mini flour tortillas
2 tomatoes, sliced into half-moons
Olive oil
2 tbs water
4 tsp brown sugar

Directions:
1. Soak halloumi in cold water for 5 mins. Meanwhile, caramelize onion in balsamic glaze, water, and sugar.
2. Coat drained halloumi in garlic, oregano, pepper, and olive oil.
3. Fry halloumi until golden and warm tortillas.
4. Serve all components together and build your tacos!
