Ingredients:

For the Fried Chicken:

1 lb chicken tenders

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Vegetable oil for frying

For the Mashed Potatoes:

4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced

1/4 cup butter

1/2 cup milk

Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Gravy:

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups chicken broth

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tsp garlic powder

For the Toppings:

2 tbsp cooked bacon, crumbled

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions:

Prepare the Fried Chicken:

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Coat the chicken tenders in the flour mixture.

Fry the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Make the Mashed Potatoes:

Boil peeled and diced potatoes in salted water for 15-20 minutes until tender.

Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper.

Set aside.
Make the Gravy:

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes to form a roux.

Gradually whisk in chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the gravy thickens.

Assemble the Dish:

Serve the mashed potatoes as a base.

Place the fried chicken tenders on top of the potatoes.

Pour the gravy over the chicken and potatoes.

Top with crumbled bacon and chopped green onions.
