Crispy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients:
For the Crispy Shrimp:
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on optional)

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Vegetable oil for frying

For the Alfredo Sauce:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Pasta:
12 oz fettuccine or linguine

Fresh thyme, for garnish

Instructions:
Prepare the Crispy Shrimp:

Set up a breading station: one bowl with flour, another with beaten eggs, and the last with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Coat each shrimp in flour, dip in egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Cook the Pasta:

Boil the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce:

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine Pasta and Sauce:

Toss the cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce until well coated.
Assemble the Dish:
