Ingredients
:
12 mozzarella string cheese sticks

1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
2 large eggs

1 cup (100g) seasoned breadcrumbs
½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ tsp garlic powder

Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
For the Marinara Dip:
1 cup (240ml) marinara sauce

1 garlic clove, minced

½ tsp red chili flakes (optional)

Instructions
:
Prepare the Mozzarella Sticks
:

Cut each mozzarella stick in half for a smaller size or leave whole for longer sticks.
Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder in a third bowl.
Coat the Mozzarella:

Dredge each mozzarella stick in flour, dip into the eggs, and coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat the egg and breadcrumb steps for an extra-thick coating.
Chill the Sticks
:

Place the coated mozzarella sticks on a tray and freeze for at least 30 minutes. This helps prevent the cheese from melting too quickly when frying.
Fry to Perfection
:

Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry the sticks in batches for 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Make the Marinara Dip
:

In a small saucepan, heat marinara sauce with minced garlic and chili flakes (if desired) until warm.
