Ingredients
12 mozzarella cheese sticks
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
2 tbsp milk
1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp paprika
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Optional Dipping Sauce
Marinara sauce

Ranch dressing or garlic aioli
Instructions
Prepare the Mozzarella Sticks:

Cut mozzarella sticks in half (if not already bite-sized).
Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for at least 30 minutes. This helps prevent the cheese from melting too quickly during frying.
Set Up Breading Stations:

In one bowl, place the flour.
In a second bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
In a third bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, parsley, and paprika.
Bread the Mozzarella Sticks:

Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, ensuring it’s evenly covered.
Dip into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off.
Roll in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Repeat the egg and breadcrumb steps for a double coating to make them extra crispy.
Freeze breaded mozzarella sticks for another 15-20 minutes to firm up.
Fry to Perfection:

Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C).
Fry a few mozzarella sticks at a time for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Serve:

Serve hot with marinara sauce, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Tips for Perfect Mozzarella Sticks
Ensure proper freezing to prevent cheese from oozing out.
Use a thermometer to maintain oil temperature for even frying.
Bake instead of frying: Arrange on a baking sheet, spray with cooking oil, and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes or until crispy.
