Crispy Chicken Cordon Bleu Rolls

A crispy, cheesy delight that’s as elegant as it is delicious!

Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 slices of ham

4 slices of Swiss or mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs (beaten)

1 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Fresh parsley
for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken:
Place each chicken breast between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound gently with a meat mallet until thin. Season with salt and pepper.

Assemble the Rolls:
Lay a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each chicken breast. Roll tightly and secure with toothpicks.

Coat the Rolls:
Dredge each roll in flour, then dip into beaten eggs, and coat evenly with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.

Cook the Rolls:
Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken rolls until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes to ensure they’re cooked through.

Serve with Sauce:
Serve the chicken rolls hot, drizzled with creamy sauce (optional) and garnished with fresh parsley.
