Creamy Seafood Alfredo with Salmon and Shrimp
A decadent pasta dish combining rich flavors and perfectly cooked seafood for an unforgettable meal!
Ingredients
For the Seafood:
2 salmon fillets
8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Alfredo Sauce:
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Pasta:
8 oz fettuccine pasta
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Cook the Pasta:
Boil the fettuccine in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Seafood:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the salmon and shrimp with salt and pepper.
Sear the salmon for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Cook the shrimp in the same skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and tender.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese and nutmeg, whisking until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Combine:
Toss the cooked fettuccine in the Alfredo sauce until evenly coated.
Assemble the Dish:
Plate the pasta and top with the seared salmon and shrimp. Garnish with fresh parsley.
