Ingredients:
For the Salmon and Shrimp:
2 salmon fillets
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
For the Alfredo Sauce:
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Pasta:
8 oz fettuccine
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Sear the Salmon and Shrimp:
Season the salmon and shrimp with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Add the remaining olive oil to the skillet and sauté the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until pink. Remove and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, stirring until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve:
Toss the cooked fettuccine in the Alfredo sauce until fully coated. Plate the pasta and top with the seared salmon and shrimp.
Garnish with chopped parsley and cracked black pepper. Serve hot!
Chef’s Tip: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce for a spicy kick!
