Creamy One-Pot Ham and Veggie Pasta

Ingredients

12 oz (340g) farfalle (bowtie pasta)
2 cups diced cooked ham
1 cup frozen peas
1 cup diced carrots
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions

Sauté the veggies and ham: In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced ham, peas, and carrots. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the veggies are tender.
Add liquids and pasta: Pour in chicken broth, milk, and heavy cream. Stir in uncooked farfalle pasta and bring to a boil. Lower heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
Add the cheese: Stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve and garnish: Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot!
