Ingredients
For the Pasta:
12 oz fettuccine or linguine
Salt (for boiling water)
For the Shrimp:
1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
For the Alfredo Sauce:
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
For Garnish:
Fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Shrimp:
Season shrimp with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually add Parmesan cheese, whisking until the sauce is smooth. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Combine:
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. Return the shrimp to the skillet and gently mix everything together.
