Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta
Ingredients:
For the chicken:
2 boneless chicken breasts, cubed
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
For the pasta:
250g rigatoni pasta
For the sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
For garnish:
Fresh parsley, chopped
Extra Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Cook rigatoni pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside. Season cubed chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a pan and cook chicken until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream, then stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Let simmer until thickened. Toss pasta in the sauce, then add the cooked chicken. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese before serving.
