Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions

Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well, scraping up any browned bits.

Add the Cheese: Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth. Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.

Combine Everything: Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Cover and let simmer on low heat for 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.

Garnish and Serve: Top with fresh parsley and serve hot!
