Creamy Garlic Chicken

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish
Directions

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits.
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley and serve immediately.
