Creamy Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients:

2 cups whole milk

1/4 cup granulated sugar

3 tbsp cocoa powder

2 tbsp cornstarch

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate chips or shavings for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Mix the Dry Ingredients:

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.

2. Add Milk:

Gradually whisk in the milk to combine, ensuring there are no lumps.

3. Cook the Mixture:

Place the saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook until the mixture starts to thicken and comes to a gentle boil.

4. Add Chocolate Chips:

Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until fully melted and smooth.

5. Add Vanilla:

Stir in the vanilla extract for added flavor.

6. Chill:

Pour the pudding into individual serving bowls and cover with plastic wrap, ensuring the wrap touches the surface of the pudding to prevent a skin from forming. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

7. Garnish and Serve:

Top with additional chocolate chips or shavings before serving. Enjoy!
