Creamy Chocolate Fudge Squares Recipe
Ingredients
3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter, cubed
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp sea salt (plus extra for sprinkling)
Instructions
Prepare the Pan:
Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal. Lightly grease the parchment paper.
Melt the Chocolate:
In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir continuously until smooth and fully melted.
Add Flavoring:
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and sea salt.
Pour and Spread:
Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan. Spread it evenly using a spatula.
Chill:
Sprinkle a light layer of sea salt on top. Refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours, or until fully set.
Cut into Squares:
Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into bite-sized squares with a sharp knife.
Serve and Enjoy:
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
