Creamy Chicken Bacon Spinach Pasta
Ingredients
8 oz penne pasta
2 chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
4 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
2 cups fresh spinach
3 garlic cloves (minced)
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Directions
Cook the pasta: Boil penne in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken pieces with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Cook the garlic and spinach: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
Make the creamy sauce: Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
Combine everything: Add the cooked pasta, chicken, crumbled bacon, and spinach to the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
Serve: Garnish with extra Parmesan and freshly cracked black pepper. Serve hot and enjoy!
