Creamy Chicken and Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients:

2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

8 oz fettuccine pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

Cook the Pasta: Boil the fettuccine pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Season the Chicken and Shrimp: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme. Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of paprika.

Cook the Chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and butter. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the chicken broth and heavy cream, then let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Add Cheese and Combine: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat in the sauce.

Assemble the Dish: Slice the cooked chicken breasts and add them back to the skillet along with the shrimp. Toss gently to combine.
