Creamy Chicken Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
2 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Alfredo Sauce:
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves (minced)
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
1/2 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
For the Pasta:
300g fettuccine pasta (cooked according to package instructions)
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream, stirring well. Bring to a gentle simmer.
3. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and smooth. Season with black pepper and salt.
4. Toss the cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce until evenly coated. Plate the pasta and top with sliced chicken.
5. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.
