Creamy Chicken Alfredo Lasagna

This indulgent twist on classic lasagna features layers of creamy Alfredo sauce, tender shredded chicken, and gooey melted cheese. It’s rich, comforting, and perfect for family dinners or special occasions!

Ingredients

For the Lasagna:
9 lasagna noodles (cooked and drained)

2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie works well)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups ricotta cheese (optional)
For the Alfredo Sauce:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Prepare the Alfredo Sauce:
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened. Set aside.

Assemble the Lasagna:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Layer with 3 lasagna noodles, followed by shredded chicken, a dollop of ricotta (if using), mozzarella cheese, and more Alfredo sauce. Repeat layers, ending with a generous layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake:
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden. For a crispier top, broil for 1-2 minutes.

Serve:
Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
