Creamy Cheesy Chip Dip
Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
1 block (16 oz) Velveeta cheese, cubed
½ cup sour cream
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp chili powder (optional for a spicy kick)
Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
Cook the Beef Mixture:
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
Add the chopped onion and green bell pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
Season:
Stir in the garlic powder and chili powder. Mix well.
Add the Tomatoes and Cheese:
Add the Rotel diced tomatoes and cubed Velveeta cheese to the skillet. Stir until the cheese is melted and smooth.
Make it Creamy:
Remove from heat and stir in the sour cream until fully combined.
Serve:
Transfer the dip to a serving dish or keep warm in a slow cooker.
Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
