Creamy Baked Pasta with Chicken, Bacon, and Cheese

Ingredients:

For the Pasta:

8 oz penne pasta

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

For the Sauce:

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Toppings:

4 slices cooked bacon (crumbled)

1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions:

Prepare the Chicken:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C)

Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper

Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove and slice into strips

Cook the Pasta:

Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside

Make the Sauce:

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat
. Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, and cream cheese. Stir to combine and let it simmer until the cream cheese has melted and the sauce thickens
