Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Stuffed French Toast

A simple yet indulgent breakfast dish that’s perfect for brunch or a quick comfort food dinner. The combination of chocolate peanut butter, bananas, and fluffy Texas toast creates a warm, gooey treat in every bite!

Ingredients:
4 slices Texas toast (thick bread preferred for texture)
8 tablespoons chocolate peanut butter (or Nutella, divided)
1 medium banana (thinly sliced)
2 large eggs

¼ cup milk
(unsweetened cashew milk or any milk of choice)
1 tablespoon granulated sugar

½ teaspoon cinnamon

2 tablespoons unsalted butter
(for griddling)
Instructions:
Prepare the Sandwiches:

Spread about 2 tablespoons of chocolate peanut butter on each slice of Texas toast.
Evenly layer the sliced bananas on two of the slices of bread.
Place the remaining bread slices on top of the banana slices, chocolate peanut butter side down. Set the sandwiches aside.
Prepare the Egg Mixture:

In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 eggs, ¼ cup milk, 1 tablespoon sugar, and ½ teaspoon cinnamon until well combined.
Cook the French Toast:

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until melted.
Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides evenly.
Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until both sides are golden brown and slightly crispy.
Serve:

Slice the French toast sandwiches in half and serve immediately. This dish is best enjoyed warm and fresh.
Tips:
Garnish Ideas: Top with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or even more sliced bananas for extra flavor!
Variations: Substitute Nutella with any preferred chocolate spread or regular peanut butter.
Enjoy this decadent treat!
