Chocolate Cookie Dough Lava Cake

Ingredients:

Cookie Dough:
-1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
-1 cup granulated sugar
-1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
-2 large eggs
-2 teaspoons vanilla extract
-2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
-1 teaspoon baking soda
-1/2 teaspoon salt

Chocolate Filling:
-1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
-1 tablespoon unsalted butter
-1 tablespoon heavy cream

Instructions:
-Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
-Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
-Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
-Prepare Chocolate Filling: In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate chips, butter, and heavy cream over low heat, stirring until smooth.
-Assemble: Spoon about 2 tablespoons of cookie dough into each muffin liner. Top with a teaspoon of chocolate filling. Cover with another spoonful of cookie dough.
-Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
-Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
