Recipes:
Chicken Alfredo with Bacon
Ingredients
For the Chicken:
2 chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Alfredo Sauce:
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup cream cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Pasta:
12 oz fettuccine or your preferred pasta
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Chicken:
Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Remove from the pan and let rest before slicing.
Cook the Bacon:
In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain and crumble when cooled.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir. Bring to a gentle simmer, then reduce the heat.
Gradually add the Parmesan cheese (and cream cheese if using), stirring constantly until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine:
Toss the cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce until evenly coated. Plate the pasta and top with sliced chicken and crumbled bacon.
Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve immediately.
