Cherry Chocolate Brownies Recipe
Ingredients:
200g dark chocolate, melted
150g butter, melted
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup fresh or canned cherries, pitted
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Steps:
1. Preheat oven:
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
2. Make the batter:
Whisk melted butter and sugar until combined.
Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then fold until just combined.
3. Add cherries and chocolate chips:
Gently fold in cherries and half of the chocolate chips.
4. Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the center is set.
5. Cool and serve:
Let the brownies cool before cutting into squares and garnishing with extra cherries.
