Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Topping:

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Black pepper and sesame seeds (optional)

Directions:

Prepare the Cheese Filling:

In a bowl, mix mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Assemble the Pastry:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Spoon the cheese mixture onto one half of the pastry, leaving space at the edges for sealing.
Fold the pastry over the filling, sealing the edges with a fork.

Add the Topping:

Place the pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with black pepper or sesame seeds for extra flavor.

Bake:

Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.

Cool and Serve:
