Cheesy Stuffed Meatloaf
Ingredients:
1 kg ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 onion (finely chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
For the Filling:
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup sautéed mushrooms
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and oregano until well combined.
3. Flatten half of the meat mixture into the bottom of the loaf pan.
4. Spread mozzarella cheese, bell peppers, and mushrooms evenly over the meat.
5. Cover with the remaining meat mixture and press the edges to seal.
6. Bake for 45 minutes, then sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
7. Bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
